This position is based out of Burnaby BC
Overview:
Join our team as a 3rd Year or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice where you will be assisting and involved in a variety of projects encompassing institutional, commercial, and residential settings. We are seeking a skilled individual to contribute to our dynamic team.
Duties:
- Assist and Perform electrical installations, upgrades, maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and compliance standards
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, installations, and equipment inventory
- Collaborate and assist with fellow apprentice/ electricians, contractors and project managers
- Communicate effectively with clients to grasp their electrical requirements, address concerns, and deliver quality service and solutions
Qualifications:
- Must complete 3rd or 4th year of Electrical Apprenticeship
- Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in the electrical field with exposure to commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential environments
- Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed to meet project deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing; ability to engage professionally with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
-Valid BC Driver's licence would be an asset
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $31.50-$38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
