POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Associate, Digital role will work closely with the team and contribute to the development of digital Marketing programs, campaigns, and initiatives, and execute the deliverables that will achieve them.
MAJOR ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE:
Marketing Strategy & Program Management
- Works with Manager to conceptualize, develop, and implement marketing acquisition campaigns through existing channels and by identifying new ones
- Works closely with the internal team members and external Partners (digital marketing agency, Google, digital media partners) for day-to-day activities (content creation, creative development, campaign setup and optimization, a/b test, monitoring, minor website updates, coordinating larger website updates and testing with digital agency)
- Assesses and analyzes campaigns and coordinates efforts across on-line and offline channels to optimize investments with internal partners Writes, proofreads, and edits content for various marketing activities including our website and advertisements
- Collaborates and partners with Marketing team members, UX teams and Sales Management, to ensure the customer experience is optimized in campaign execution and fulfillment
- Helps manage existing partnerships and assists in the development of new strategies to support growth, including management of events, conferences, seminars, and other educational programs that help build awareness
- Develops work back schedules, leadership updates, maintains editorial calendars, and develops timely and relevant social posts
Reporting, Analysis & Budget Support
- Ensures frequent monitoring, tracking, and reporting of all marketing campaigns through analysis of large data sets. Leverage analysis to identify opportunities to optimize or course-correct programs.
- Tracks key business metrics and contribute to forecasting and reporting on consumer marketing initiatives and results
- Works with the Manager, to update budget notes and forecasting
- Assists with processing of invoices and vendor follow up as required
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of digital marketing experience, preferably in the financial services sector
- Media agency experience preferred with strong technical skills and an advanced knowledge of digital marketing media and social media platforms (including Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Facebook, and other digital media platforms)
- Experience with WordPress is an asset
- Bachelor’s degree or a graduate degree an asset but not required
- Experience in content development, copy writing, basic design, and project management
- Experience with social media management, reporting and development of campaigns in CRM platforms is an asset
- Experience with basic data analytics and reporting
- Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Suite, Canva
