Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a busy dental office environment. The Dental Receptionist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and maintaining positive patient experiences.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently.
Handle incoming calls, answer inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members.
Maintain patient records using electronic medical records systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Process patient information, including insurance verification and billing inquiries.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
Familiarity with dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients regarding their treatment plans.

Skills

Proficiency in using dental office management software such as Abeldent or similar systems.
Experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and organization.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is a plus.
Ability to operate phone systems and manage multiple lines effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and staff professionally.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
