Cafe 85, an exciting brand new Cafe / Bistro is looking for dishwashers with solid work ethics to join our team with a newly built kitchen and dining room. You must have a legal status to work in Canada with dishwashing experience in commercial kitchens.
Depending on the skill level and experience, we can offer higher wages for those who can take part in food preparation. You must demostrate knife skills and basic knowledge in food handling and safety.
Duties:
- Wash cookware in the kitchen, including pots, pans, and equipment parts.
- Wash and dry dinnerware including plates, bowls, and silverware.
- Basic food preparation including portioning, bagging, and filling up containers.
- Clean the dishwashing station and the kitchen based on the restaurant standards.
Requirements:
- Proven commercial dishwashing experience in the restaurant industry
- Valid Food Handler Certification (Asset)
- Punctuality and ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.20 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
