Duties:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer appropriate physiotherapy techniques and interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, self-care techniques, and injury prevention strategies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and incorporate evidence-based treatments into practice
Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
- Valid license to practice as a Physiotherapist in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience in acute care settings, preferably within a hospital environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with hospital protocols
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
