Position Summary:
The role of a Media Assistant is to support the team with the preparation of media plans, investments, recommendations, and analysis.
This role requires you to work as part of an integrated media team to ensure the product and activations are grounded in insights and experience, resulting in flawless media executions.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately maintain client records, media approval documentation, and media purchase contracts.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate campaign execution and performance.
- Assist in solving/clearing billing discrepancies/queries in a timely manner.
- Ensure invoice information is collected and follow up with external suppliers to gather missing information as required.
- Support the team with preparing and maintaining accurate and timely billing and budget control reporting.
- Support the creation of campaign post reports.
- Source proposals from media partners as required.
- Assist with document creation: presentations, visual summaries, schedules and reports.
- Assist the media planning team with developing costs and data collection for recommendations and analysis.
- Maintain updated team status reports.
- Assist with the preparation of media Point Of Views (POVs) /evaluations.
- Coordinate and attend learning sessions with key media suppliers.
- Develop proficiency with necessary media research tools, systems, and software.
- Proactively develop knowledge of the media landscape.
- Support the team on various client related projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Professional or educational background in Marketing and/or Advertising would give leverage to this application.
- Driven desire to develop and excel in a media career.
- Client service oriented.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
- Highly developed organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent ability to manage and prioritize time effectively.
- Proactive approach to problem solving, assisting the team, self-development, etc.
- Curiosity, with a passion for continuous development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
