As a Concrete Scanning Technician - Trainee, your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Utilizing GPR with Xradar’s technology to locate and map the position of post-tension cables, rebar, and electrical conduits located in concrete
- Employing drilling techniques to make holes and openings in concrete structures
- Exposure to fieldwork – you’ll get to know our city intimately by visiting a wide range of construction projects
- Preparation of job sites and equipment set up, as well as necessary clean-up and maintenance of tools
- Completion of job summary reports for client review
On your resume, we will be looking for the following:
- 1 year of experience working in a labour or construction role
- Valid Drivers’ License to use company vehicles as necessary
- Strong computer skills, and expertise in AutoCAD and GPS is a significant asset

- Training wage of $25.20 - $28/Hour DOE. On completion of training you will be raised to $28.40 - $32 DOE. Wages rise there after with experience, responsibilities and skills.
