Canlan is currently looking for a Human Resources Reporting & Systems Administrator to work at our Eastern Head Office.
Please note: This is a 1 year contract role
The Human Resources Reporting & Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, streamlining, and updating all HR systems, as well as accountable for reporting needs for the People & Culture department. This is a hands-on role and requires knowledge of HR business processes. The administrator must be able to provide support, be responsive to requests and be able to configure the HR systems based on business requirements.
This role is accountable for:
- Partner with stakeholders from across the business to identify, prioritize and deliver enhancements to HR systems for exceptional customer experience and changing business needs.
- HR Systems maintenance and support – serve as super-user and primary system administrator, systems include but are not limited to our ATS , ADP, and all other HR systems
- HR Systems reporting and analytics – develop, maintain and support a variety of report queries and KPI’s for the HR team.
- Serve as project lead or subject matter expert on HR systems initiatives
- Looks for ways to optimize business processes surrounding HR systems
- Production and maintenance of system documentation
- Overseeing the reporting and maintenance of Canlan Sports’s online training and policy modules.
- Training and change management as required.
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience using ADP or equivalent systems.
- General understanding of HRIS systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral

- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle confidential information responsibly
- Strong interpersonal with can-do attitude and ability to think outside the box
