Your Opportunity
The purpose of this position is to provide IT support and services to Due North.
Please note this is an onsite position
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and resolving IT issues (Hardware, Software, Peripheral, Network, etc.)
- Performing necessary maintenance, monitoring, and repair of hardware such as laptops, tablets, desktops, switches, servers, printers, etc.
- Assist with the full hardware, application and asset management lifecycle (procurement, deployment, maintenance, tracking, documenting, retirement, etc.).
- Directly support Due North’s ERP, identifying, escalating and/or triaging to expedite the resolution of issues experienced by end users
- Effectively communicate electronically and in person with users needing technical support
- Assist in constantly looking for opportunities to improve our processes and procedures, enhance our communications and the quality of our products, customer service and our life at work, including ways to eliminate processes that waste time or have no value, and then report these opportunities to your manager.
- Active participation in the researching of best practices to maintain profitability, fulfill requirements and gain the best value from our IT systems
- Assist in developing and implementing plans to protect Due North’s computer systems from viruses, spyware, software piracy, and unauthorized access and usage
- Assist in developing, implementing/maintaining a plan for disaster recovery of Due North’s infrastructure
- Assist with account setup and password changes, following-up on reported problems and helping users with how to use the system (users should go to their managers for assistance first)
- Other duties related to special assignments or projects as required
You Have
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience is
- IT specific certifications are an asset (ITIL, CSSP, A+, Security+, Network+, M365 Fundamentals, etc.)
- A valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle
