We are seeking a talented and experienced Wok Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team and help elevate the dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Thai dishes using a wok, ensuring high quality and consistency.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure the kitchen operates smoothly.
- Assist with menu planning and developing new recipes that reflect the flavors of Thai cuisine.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to meet customer demands and deliver exceptional service.
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and ensure the proper storage and handling of all products.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a wok chef or in a similar role in a Thai or Asian kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of Thai cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Preferred:
- Culinary degree or relevant certifications.
- Experience working with a high volume of orders in a busy restaurant setting.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
