You will leverage automation to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and drive business growth. You will maintain a high level of understanding of existing and newly integrated IT platforms. You need to have superior communication skills in the areas of presentation and support, both oral and written. The ability to socialize advanced technical solutions to non-technical business units, to collaborate with diverse technical teams in the areas of access management, corporate policies in regards to mobile device management, and general device/application troubleshooting will be required. The ability to “make things work”, relying on one’s own technical ability and experience, will be constantly tested. The candidate will be responsible for developing automated workflows using an IPaaS system or other mechanisms with the primary goal of streamline processes through automation and integration of various systems . The candidate must understand key SLA requirements and ensure they are met.
Department Overview
IT Corporate Services is a division of Global Technology Services focused on supporting enterprise-wide tools, applications, hardware, and infrastructure related to users and their day to day business line activities. IT Corporate Services manages technology in our internal office space, the TMX Broadcast Center, our corporate on-prem data center, and in the cloud. IT Corporate Services manages user experience through the Customer Support Center, the Desktop Support team, the Executive Services Support team as well as all Printing and Video capabilities within our office meeting spaces.
Key Accountabilities
- Automate processes using a low-code/no-code platform (Workato or similar)
- Develop integrations between existing and future systems, working directly with REST APIs or through an IPaaS
- Develop audit-proof systems and records; create quality control and assurance processes to prevent and check errors
- Support the evaluation and implementation of new enterprise technologies
- Provide day-to-day support to TMX Group employees; address technical questions, and troubleshoot issues with vendors
- Stay updated with industry trends: Keep abreast of emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in automation and financial technology, and proactively recommend innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement
- Problem solve and analyze complex workflows, identify inefficiencies, design and implement automated solutions.
- Explore, design, and implement opportunities for automation
- Leverage best practices, including packaging, security and release management
- Define and execute testing of acceptance criteria of system changes.
Must haves
- Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience with IAM solutions and best practices
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively present ideas and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Intermediate level knowledge of Google Workspace, Workday, ServiceNow, OKTA, and IPaaS solutions
- Fundamental understanding of an IT Management framework (preferably ITIL)
- Have built integrations using either REST or SOAP APIs
- Experience with any Cloud computing technologies such as Google Cloud, AWS
- Proficient in either/or Python, Javascript, or Powershell
- Good understanding of JSON and XML structures and schemas
- Experience building integration solutions with various enterprise cloud applications
Nice to haves
- Any Google Workspace or GCP certifications
- Business knowledge of Financial Services / Capital Markets
