Consultant Occupational Therapist – LOGIC Rehabilitation
Full-time or Part-time
OVERVIEW:
Logic Rehab provides client-centered occupational therapy to clients in their own home and work environments. Serving the areas of Sea to Sky, West/North Vancouver, Vancouver, Richmond, Surrey, Burnaby, Tri-cities, Langley, Maple Ridge, Abbotsford, and Chilliwack, we offer our clients a range of occupational therapy treatments and help them with all aspects of their rehabilitation and return to work.
To assist with the growing demands of clients in these regions, we are looking for a Consultant Occupational Therapist to join our team. This is a contractor position, and is available on either a full-time or part-time basis. We are pleased to offer the most competitive compensation package in the region, $67 - $85 / hour, including a generous signing bonus and other benefits (see below).
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Hours: Flexible hours.
Mentorship and Coaching: Comprehensive one-year training program with ongoing support beyond the initial year. New grads welcome.
Learning and Development Budget: Reimbursement for education/training courses for part-time and full-time occupational therapists.
Pay:
• $67 - $85/hour.
• Generous signing bonus for full-time hires.
• Guaranteed full-time hours for 3 months.
• Administrative Time – Participate in training, weekly mentorship sessions, and any extra time needed to complete reports while being compensated.
Profit Sharing: Full-time occupational therapists become eligible for our profit-sharing program after 1 year.
Bonuses: Competitive signing bonus, referral bonuses, student placement bonuses, in addition to eligibility for the profit-sharing program.

We have a strong support system in place and our Consultant OT will have administrative and IT support at their disposal, to enable them to focus on constructive client-centric work.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct clinical and functional assessment(s) to a wide variety of clients with varying needs, including those with physical injuries, concussion, and/or mental health conditions.
- Develop suitable evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation programs.
- Reassess, evaluate, and modify programs as needed.
- Conduct home assessments as required to determine equipment, support and attendant care needs.
- Work as a collaborative member of an interdisciplinary team with regard to client management and programming.
- Coordinate return-to-work processes with all stakeholders in a timely way, ensuring that clients have a smooth transition back into the workplace.
- Maintain and manage a clinical caseload of clients.
- Write and submit reports.
- Maintain all relevant documentation and records.
Essential Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
- Member in good standing with COTBC.
- Masters in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid driving license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of Post-graduate Occupational Therapy treatment courses.
- 1–3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist is an asset, including experience working with individuals affected by mental health, brain injury, or other neurological disabilities.
- Experience in return to work and interdisciplinary care is an asset.
- Experience working in the community.
- Experience with chronic pain and concussion.
