The Carol Foderick Real Estate Group (CFREG) is looking for a full-time Driver/Mover for our Staging Department to drive our truck daily and support the team and our clients with picking up, dropping off, moving, loading, unloading, sorting, staging. If you have a strong work ethic, an amazing approach to customer service, love working with people and have a full driver’s license, then this job is for you! This is a 6 month contract position with the possibility to be permanent.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate our 20-feet staging truck
- Drive to the warehouse for a staging inventory pick up/ drop off at various properties according to the schedule, as well as other tasks as needed etc within GTA
- Safely load and unload furniture and staging materials, adhering to industry best practices.
- Exercise care in handling items to prevent damage during transportation.
- Furniture setup according to the staging plan.
- De-staging the properties.
- Moving and helping with the inventory organization at the warehouse.
- Conduct daily truck inspections and complete pre- and post- trip reports of a company truck and equipment - dollies, moving blankets, etc.
- Keep the truck clean and tidy
What You Bring to the Role:
- 3 years or more experience driving a 16-25f truck
- Must be 25 years and above in age.
- Valid class G driver's license and a clean driver's abstract are required.
- CVOR preferable.
- Your location Toronto East/Scarborough preferable. Pickup & delivery, home staging and warehouse experience (or other relevant experience) is required.
- Spatial awareness to load the truck efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent Communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate with the team, agents, clients, suppliers. Share the time-sensitive information with the team in a timely fashion.
- Exceptional Customer service experience.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and walk, stand, sit, stair climb, and travel on a regular basis.
- CSA approved safety footwear to worn at all times.
- Work well independently and as part of a team.
