Who You'll Work With
The Intake Coordinator is the initial contact with referral sources, coordinating the referral and intake service, facilitation of the administration process, and maintains communication with the referral sources and assessors. Preference will be given to candidates that are able to provide those services in both French and English.
This remote role is a temporary full-time position with a length of 12-18 months for the purpose of parental leave coverage. There is an estimated start date of January 6, 2025
What You'll Be Doing
- Schedule medical/occupational services following intake process and time requirements;
- Communicate and confirm with all parties of appointment times and assessment requirements;
- Review of reports and services for accuracy and contractual requirements;
- Maintain an existing tracking system to monitor work in progress;
- Communicate with assessors to obtain information pertaining to file management;
- Assist with weekly reporting requirements;
- Contact employers, employees, attending physicians, rehab caseworkers, occupational health practitioners in order to arrange and process appropriate medical assessments;
- Attend case management meetings as required with a multidisciplinary team including key stakeholders;
- Prepare invoices as per contract fee schedule;
- Process of funds on internet portal;
- Commitment to continuous quality improvement program.
What You Need to Be Successful
- 1-3 years experience in a related role
- Medical / Healthcare knowledge required
What You Need to Stand Out
- Working knowledge of medical/healthcare legislation preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English is an asset

- Ability to work effectively with others;
- Ability to learn new software with ease;
