Core Responsibilities
The primary objective of the Analyst, Client Service role is to deliver client service for Circana collaborative gateway services that engage CPG manufacturer clients with their retailer partners to drive mutual growth. This role also supports senior Client Service team members in delivering exceptional service to key client relationships.
Essential Roles & Responsibilities
Client Leadership
▪ Demonstrate ability to build trusted relationships with supplier clients
▪ Ability to engage in a consultative manner with clients when helping solve/manage content deliverables
▪ Clearly communicate, verbally and/or in writing, essential Circana service details, and process information so that client stakeholders understand key capabilities and benefits
▪ Effectively probe to understand client business objectives, issues, and success measures to deliver timely, value-added services and support to drive client growth
▪ Ability to navigate through complex client and/or Circana issues, identify root causes and resolve them in collaboration with the Consultant and/or Principal
▪ Maintain an ability always to keep the manufacturer and retailer perspectives in mind; able to think through multiple divergent paths and understand the implications on the client and Circana
▪ Work closely with senior client service team members to understand and analyze client issues, target relevant insights, and make timely recommendations
Financial Management
▪ At minimum maintain assigned revenue and pro-actively identify new opportunities to expand revenue
▪ Manage expenses according to the needs of the business
People Leadership
▪ Build credibility and cultivate strong, collaborative relationships across the Circana organization
▪ Utilize Circana corporate “best-demonstrated practices” such as the SOLV Model, Feedback Model, and Client Value Program
▪ Able to effectively engage with virtual and diverse teams, potentially in multiple locations
▪ Able to think broadly about current company people policies and suggest opportunities for improvements
Innovation
▪ Contribute to the development and creation of new or enhanced methods, products, and/or services; approach job function with original and progressive thinking in order to improve processes, methods, systems, and services
▪ Use supplier client feedback to evolve Circana’s understanding of the role we can play in developing the collaborative partnership with CPG suppliers. Provide recommendations to leadership and once approved support the execution of project plans
▪ Expand knowledge of the CPG industry by leveraging industry-related publications from internal and external resources
Key Requirements
To support the essential roles and responsibilities outlined above, the ideal candidate must possess the following experience and skills:
▪ 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in the CPG industry
▪ Demonstrated willingness and ability to embrace new data sets, systems, processes, technologies, and ideas
▪ Demonstrated ability to proactively identify, clearly articulate, and/or solve problems/data issues by making recommendations and/or decisions that are sensible given the available information
▪ A strong desire to help clients make their business successful
▪ Ability to ask probing questions to understand the foundational ideas concerning an issue and formulate possible solutions based on the information
▪ Hold self and others accountable for meeting timeline and quality standards
▪ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
▪ Undergraduate degree required
