Role Description:
Aderant is working to mature DevOps processes and automation, and this individual will be at the forefront of that journey. We are also looking to become compliant against numerous industry standards, so a security focus is key. We are constantly evolving our strategy to minimize complexity and promote scalability, functionality, and user experience. We need talented team members to drive these efforts forward!
Responsibilities:
- Participating in the day-to-day operations of Aderant’s cloud products and offerings.
- Use of automation, scripting and software frameworks to streamline common cloud deployment and administrative tasks.
- Supporting internal and external clients working on Aderant’s cloud solutions.
- Creation of technical documentation for CloudOps processes.
- Configuring, maintaining, and upgrading environments for Aderant’s project teams and our clients via automation.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience with AWS platform, resources and multi-account administration.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Chef, Ansible, Terraform, OpenTofu.
- Windows Server administration (including IIS, PowerShell, and Active Directory).
- Proven ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Solid comprehension of networking principles within premise and cloud environments.
- Some experience working with relational databases, preferably SQL Server.
- Knowledge of at least one common programming language.
- Curiosity of technology and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of the Aderant platform or legal industry is desirable
- The ability to efficiently use online documentation/resources and logical problem-solving to explore new technologies and resolve software issues in existing tools and products.
- Communicating to audiences with varying levels of technical ability with clarity and patience.
