Our Canadian operation, Canaccord Genuity Corp., is currently looking for an Associate, Client Services to join the Kuzyk Private Wealth team on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, the Associate, Client Services role is primarily responsible for ensuring clients are extremely satisfied with the service we provide, and that systems and processes are developed and maintained to support a growing business.
Responsibilities:
- Operate as the primary contact for client service and support;
- Servicing clients with professionalism, efficiency, and upholding confidentiality;
- Communicate effectively and efficiently to solve clients requests;
- Manage team phone lines and voicemail, assisting clients and potential prospects in a professional manner;
- Participating in projects to increase operational efficiencies and reduce costs;
- Involvement in developing the wealth business using various marketing initiatives;
- Perform additional administrative duties as required. Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Lead Investment Advisor and team as needed;
- Perform general administrative duties, coordinate lunches, team dinners, and setup client in-person meetings;
- Coordinate business meetings/travel, virtual meetings using Zoom; booking and coordinating travel arrangements (flights, reservations, hotel bookings);
- Book medical, legal, and other personal appointments;
- Assist with providing high level priority management and calendar management on Outlook, Zoom, Salesforce and DocuSign;
- Manage bank accounts, pay bills, arrange wire transfers, deposit/mail cheques and track transactions;
- Expense management, tracking, and budgeting;
- Assist with processing expense reports in a timely and accurate manner, tracking expenses, and preparing tax related documents for accountants and Family Offices;
- Prepare and assist in the preparation of business correspondence, presentations, reports, memos, letters, and spreadsheets;
- Support IA with technology by troubleshooting issues with video, audio, and Apple products;
- Assist with maintaining various databases (SalesForce,), maintain and keep organized records/files for business and personal documents;
- Assist with marketing activities and social media using LinkedIn;
- Management of passwords/confidential files of IA.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Fully fluent in English;
- Industry experience, including CSC and CPH is an asset;
- Able to legally work in Canada;
- An undergraduate degree or higher level of education is an asset;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills complemented by exceptional interpersonal skills;
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of discretion and confidentiality;
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational capacity and high attention to detail, follow up, and communication;
- Excellent prioritization skills with the ability to excel under pressure in a fast-paced growing team environment;
- Excellent teamwork skills complemented by the ability to work well independently;
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign, Zoom, and Salesforce;
