We have an opening for an
EV Project Coordinator. This role can be based in our
Victoria or
Burnaby office.
Responsibilities
Project support
- Provide support and coordination for the engineering team, ensuring timely and budget-conscious project execution.
- Organize and maintain project documentation; track milestones to keep projects on schedule.
- Coordinate with internal teams and facilitate clear, ongoing communication with all stakeholders.
- Manage municipal and third-party permits and approvals (e.g., Utility Line Assignments, URWs, Joint Use).
- Weekly client project reporting.
- Prepare project estimations, request quotations from internal resources, and verify receipt of services for supplier payments.
- Summarize and evaluate project financial outcomes upon completion, ensuring alignment with budget targets.
- Provide onboarding support for new team members and help implement program improvements.
- Facilitate design coordination with customers, municipal authorities, utilities, and other project stakeholders.
- Operate and make incremental improvements to EV Primary’s project management software to enhance project tracking and reporting capabilities.
- Interface with clients, host utilities, approving authorities, and other external personnel to understand and comply with their requirements.
Financial support
- Complete project billing and invoicing tasks, ensuring timely entries in Primary’s accounting system.
- Oversee project administration, including initiating, monitoring, closing, billing, and digital archiving of project files.
- Managing customer invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including report preparation, document formatting, and professional correspondence.
- Strong organizational, time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Proven ability to innovate, adapt, and contribute to evolving processes in a constantly changing environment.
- Ability to work within a deadline-oriented team environment, to prioritize work, and to work independently.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Assets
- Education or experience in business administration, project coordination, accounting, or technician.
- Familiarity with Monday.com or other project management tools would be considered an asset.
- Previous experience with Acumatica, or other Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) software systems.
- Exposure to consulting engineering, utilities, land development, or construction industries.
Salary Range: $27.00 – $35.00 per hour
