Summary
Responsibilities
This role supports the Customer Communications & Public Affairs Division by acting as the liaison to the Procurement, Accounting, and Finance Departments. It ensures that all funds are planned, disbursed, and accurately accounted for across the Communications, Marketing, Public Affairs, and Indigenous Relations Departments.
Education
Qualifications
Completion of grade 12 plus courses in Business Management, Accounting, or equivalent, including related computer software (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.)
Experience
Requires two (2) years of related experience in an accounting related position, where related terminology and procedures are well-understood. Technical skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, along with familiarity with project management tools, are required. A further period of up to 6 months in the role to be familiar with the company policies, procedures, and processes.

Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.
Work Schedule
37.5 hours per week.

This position offers the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely within B.C.
Rate of Pay
Salary $5,624 - $6,754 per month (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
