The Role
Chainlink Labs is seeking a
Blockchain Analysis Engineer to build and enhance internal blockchain tooling, with a focus on on-chain monitoring and automation to streamline investigative workflows. This unique role blends full-stack engineering with blockchain analysis, where you'll design, develop, and implement solutions that drive proactive monitoring efforts.
You will be responsible for creating systems that improve security operations, working closely with internal teams to enhance the scalability and efficiency of our monitoring solutions. This role will have a significant impact on a critical piece of the world’s blockchain infrastructure, powering the digital agreements of the future.
Your Impact
- Build and Automate Monitoring Systems: Develop internal tools and automation solutions for on-chain monitoring. Your work will reduce manual oversight, making our investigations faster and more efficient.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with blockchain investigators, security, and engineering teams to improve monitoring systems and internal tooling.
- Drive Projects with Ownership: Lead projects from conception to implementation, including backend infrastructure, APIs, and cloud-based tooling. Take full ownership of internal monitoring systems and be proactive in improving their effectiveness.
- Streamline Investigative Workflows: Create tools to automate and enhance the speed of blockchain investigations, allowing for more efficient analysis of potential threats.
Requirements
- Strong Software Engineering Skills: Proven experience in systems programming languages, preferably Rust and building back-end infrastructure for custom applications, services, and APIs. Familiarity with AWS cloud architectures.
- Blockchain Knowledge: In-depth experience with the Ethereum ecosystem and understanding how on-chain activity works. You know how to trace transactions and parse through blockchain data.
- Full-Stack Development: Experience building web applications and backend APIs.
- On-Chain Monitoring Experience: Familiarity with building monitoring and alerting systems for blockchain environments.
Desired Qualifications
- Security Knowledge: Understanding of security principles across web2 and web3.
- Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Startup Experience: Comfortable with fast-paced environments and building solutions that scale.
