The Role
RedMane has a full-time opportunity for an Office Administrator as we continue to grow our Vancouver based Canadian practice. We are looking for an Office Administrator to join our team and provide essential support across a wide range of office management and administrative tasks. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being the go-to person, and loves working with a dynamic team. This position will normally be in the office 5 days week.
Skills & Role Requirements
The Office Administrator will:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the office, including managing office supplies, equipment, and inventory.
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external communications, responding to queries and redirecting them as necessary.
- Plan and coordinate office events, conferences, and meetings, including managing logistics, scheduling, and vendor relations.
- Assist in onboarding new hires, including managing office access, coordinating workspace setup, and facilitating orientation.
- Maintain a welcoming and organized office environment, ensuring high levels of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with different teams to support cross-departmental needs and foster a positive office culture.
- Manage various administrative projects, such as document preparation, filing systems, and basic data entry.
- Handle basic accounting tasks, including processing invoices, tracking expenses, and assisting with budget management.
- Liaise with building management and external vendors for maintenance, repairs, and office enhancements.
- Coordinate internal learning and development sessions, helping staff access training opportunities and track progress.
- Provide basic IT support and troubleshooting in coordination with the IT department as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in office administration or related roles.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with an eye for detail.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general office software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- A proactive problem-solver who can think on their feet and take initiative.
Required Qualifications
