Scope:
A Rigid-Flex Operator monitors and expedites the flow of job orders within or between departments to ensure prompt progress of goods to conform with production schedules and on time delivery to customers.
Shift: Midnight (Monday - Friday)
Schedule: 11:00pm - 7:15am
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Able to perform precise work to align cover-coat and other material using eye loop
- Able to align and tack material using soldering iron
- Confers with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates
- Serve as a link between quality, engineering, customer service, production control and manufacturing to provide feedback on potential bottleneck areas
- Prepare daily documentation and reports on progress of work and production issues
- Participate in daily production meetings
- Awareness of factory problems, situations, and current production schedule

Essential Knowledge & Skills:
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
- Working knowledge and use of Paradigm Reports
- Thorough knowledge of Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Able to handle situations involving sensitive issues with professionalism and tact
- Capable of quickly accessing a situation and making appropriate decisions
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Computerized numerical control experience helpful
Please note that due to Controlled Goods Program (CGP) requirements, all applicants must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident in Canada.
