We have an outstanding opportunity with our downtown Vancouver client for an experienced full cycle bookkeeper, or even a relatively new bookkeeper who is willing to learn.
Our rapidly growing Vancouver client has asked us to find someone who will excel in their entrepreneurial environment in this newly created Bookkeeper role.
You will be working very closely with the Controller; assisting them with managing the books for some of the smaller companies within their portfolio.
Experience with a small accounting package (Sage?) is beneficial while they convert to their new ERP system next year. Some level of previous bookkeeping experience, and a happy pleasant ‘can-do’ attitude are the primary requirements. They will teach you anything else you need to learn.
Beyond this, you are someone who enjoys learning and are happy to jump in and help when asked.
This really is an exciting opportunity to be part of a very successful group and be handsomely rewarded for your diligence. This is primarily and ‘in-office’ role with the option to work from home on Fridays. The office is located in Downtown Vancouver with easy access to transit.
Requirements
- 1 or many more years of Full Cycle bookkeeping experience. The role will be adapted for your level of experience.
- Experience within the mining or natural resources sector is beneficial, or a CPA Advisory firm.
- Strong English communications skills.
- Organized, and detail oriented.
- Humble enough to know when to ask for help and to ask questions!
- Bright, detail oriented, able to work independently but with good interpersonal skills to work with this team.
