Job Summary
As an Outbound sales Representative, you will be responsible for reaching out to current and potential customers via phone or digitally to promote and sell our products. Your primary duties include making outbound calls, following up on leads, and maintaining a high level of customer engagement. You will need to effectively communicate the benefits of our offerings, address customer inquiries, and close sales to meet or exceed targets. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, a persuasive attitude, and the ability to handle rejection while maintaining a positive demeanor. Additionally, you will be expected to keep accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in our CRM system.
Key Responsibilities
- Make sales calls and digital contact to sell to current and potential customers. Inform customers of any new products or promotions that are in market and upsell or offer substitutions.
- Manage pre-order process of limited release and special orders
- Ensure all customer sales calls are made with courtesy and respect, ensuring customers receive exceptional and consistent service. Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely manner, reaching out to the appropriate person if they need additional information.
- Collaborate with Account Managers/Marketing to inform customers of new products and marketing updates
- General administrative duties including maintaining customer records, filing, administration.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or College education preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience in an office environment including Customer Service or Outbound Sales or 3-5 years’ experience in Inside Sales or Customer Service preferred
- Cold calling and achieving sales targets
- Consultative selling skills
- Ability to use Excel, Proficient use of Excel and Salesforce.com is preferred.
- A basic understanding of wine is an asset
- Bilingual in French and English
Compensation: Budgeted Range – ($52,472.00-$67,905.00) the budgeted range takes into account several factors and qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements. Base pay is only one component of the total rewards offering at Arterra.
