Part-Time Dining Room Server (Waitress)Role Summary
As a Dining Room Server at Al Omda Café & Restaurant, you’ll play a key role in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests. Success in this role involves fostering a warm, welcoming environment, delivering prompt and precise service, and ensuring guest satisfaction with every visit. This position is essential to upholding our reputation for friendly, high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and provide menu details to enhance their experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, noting dietary preferences or special requests.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, checking back regularly to ensure guests are satisfied.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables and surrounding areas.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Process guest payments accurately and professionally.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a friendly, professional manner.
Qualifications
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong attention to detail; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Language Proficiency: Preference for candidates who are fluent in Spanish, with additional proficiency in English and/or Arabic.
- Experience: Previous experience in a serving or customer-facing role is preferred but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and occasionally lift items up to 20 pounds.
