Responsibilities
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette while handling incoming calls and inquiries.
- Schedule material pick ups, deliveries, and installations.
- Organize and maintain records, invoices, contracts, and inventory data.
- Maintain organized filing systems for documents and records.
- Provide clerical support including data entry, scheduling , and managing correspondence.
- Assist in team management by coordinating schedules and supporting project initiatives.
- Assist the sales and installation teams with scheduling, documentation, and communication.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments, ensuring accuracy in documentation.
- Follow up with customers on project status to ensure satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous administrative experience, preferably in the construction, flooring, or retail sector.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Must be proficient in English, both verbal and written.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education is an asset).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of flooring products and services is an asset but not required.
