Job Title:
Marketing and Graphic Design & Retail Sales
Main Purpose of the Job:
To attend Design Studio clients to sell jewellery, repairs and custom orders, as well as execute all duties related to the promotion and marketing of Ragnar products across social media channels, print (newspaper and /or magazine) and direct mail to Ragnar clients.

Direct Reports:
Directly works with all other Retail Sales Team, and Office Administrator to facilitate client requests. Works directly with Owner, Production Manager and General Manager to contribute to design marketing and promotion of services and merchandise.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
● Attend clients coming to the Studio and give an exceptional customer service experience
● Take accurate instructions from clients to be able to enter work orders accurately and clearly into point of sale system (VJS).
● Inspect finished work of their own orders and jewellery to assure accuracy of details and quality of workmanship of finished work orders
● Enter work order instruction details into VJS including photos, gemstone sizes and grades, and (if provided by client) appraisal information.
● Include Price quotes from the provided repair book when possible.
● Strive to achieve sales goals and team sales goals, which includes sales from finished goods, custom orders and repairs.
● Participate in Morning meetings and sales training.
● Follow up with existing clients and potential clients.
● Call clients from a provided list and relay information about special events
● Create graphic design solutions monthly for featuring promoted items (in store signage, tv monitors, LED screens)
● Revise prices across all advertising channels when required (including website)
● Photograph of any items required for advertising and oversee digital editing
● Save working copies of all graphic design files on the google drive
● Create direct emails to promote featured items and services
● Use Constant Contact to schedule emails as directed for each month
● Create social media content and post regularly each month as guided by Owner/General Manager
Main Duties and Responsibilities (Cont.):
● Work directly with printers, mail house, and newspaper contacts to ensure marketing materials are scheduled and created within deadlines.
● Maintain showroom tidiness after a sales presentation is complete (returning tools to proper places and tidying station for next presentation)

Qualifications:
Must be able to speak clearly and cheerfully with people they may not have met before.
Requires a minimum of 1 year customer service and sales experience at a luxury jewellery related level. Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently, in order to receive and relay instructions to clients and other members of the sales and production team. Must be able to understand written instructions in English in order to accurately relay information across advertising channels. Must be able to work independently to achieve job requirements, which may include sitting at a computer. Must be able to move around freely and expediently when required to assist other associates. Must have full knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, and be familiar with Instagram and Facebook.
Working Conditions:
This job may require working in a functioning workshop which does include noise including hammering, drilling, pounding, filing and some sudden loud noises on occasion. The workshop uses powders, liquids and compounds that could stain clothes.
The workshop involves use of high speed tools that can be dangerous if used incorrectly. The Company does NOT allow anyone other than trained goldsmiths to use any files, saws, torches or other goldsmithing equipment for any reason.

This position could occasionally require lifting office supplies or equipment up to 30 lbs.
● Motion Requirements
The position can require walking, standing for periods of time while attending a client, getting up quickly from a seated position, sitting extended periods of time at a desk. This position may require long stretches of time sitting at a computer screen. It may require standing for extended periods of time when with clients in the showroom.
● Vision and Hearing Requirements
The person in this position must be able to hear alarms, telephones, and buzzers, all which protect the health and safety of staff members, and alert them to clients or needs of their coworkers. For this reason, playing music and/or wearing headphones while playing music is prohibited at work.
In order to adequately perform the duties of the job, the position requires clear vision and the ability to enhance vision if necessary (using magnification tools) in order to inspect small details. There could be considerable time spent in front of a computer screen, on the telephone, or using magnification tools during the course of a work day.
● Psychological Demands
This position requires the ability to problem solve, read and write clearly and legibly, and interpret data/instructions. Must be able to confidently approach and speak with strangers in person or on the telephone. Must be able to work independently to achieve job requirements.
