Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef at Compass Group Canada in Concord, ON. The Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals, creating menus, managing inventory, and ensuring food safety standards are met. They will also supervise kitchen staff, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and collaborate with vendors to source quality ingredients.
Qualifications
- Culinary Arts, Cooking, and Menu Planning skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Experience in inventory management and kitchen supervision
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Relevant certification from a culinary school or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
