The Role
As a QUOTUS Business Development Professional, you are responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new opportunities with potential clients in the automotive retail industry. You are a highly motivated self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including demographic data, prospect lists, discovery, and individual research. You are a dynamic personality with a drive to find opportunities. You are able to leverage existing industry relationships from QUOTUS management, making opening doors easier.
Our Business Development Professional is expected to:
- Develop new business from our extensive and readily available database of North American automotive industry stakeholders via, calls, email, database research, inbound leads, and mass communication such as LinkedIn, to introduce QUOTUS and identify those whose businesses would be greatly enhanced by the QUOTUS platform.
- Work hand in hand with software developers, marketing specialists, company management and others to ensure the product offering meets the needs of the industry stakeholders you have contact with.
- Build and cultivate retail automotive industry relationships by initiating conversations and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
- Manage customer data for new and prospective clients within Pipedrive CRM, ensuring all communications are logged and information is accurate.
- Prepare and analyze Pipedrive reports and dashboards working hand in hand with the QUOTUS team.
Required experience and knowledge:
- HS Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Retail automotive industry experience, knowledge or relationships preferred
- A demonstrated willingness to meet and/or exceed outreach activity quotas
- A proven track record of understanding and utilizing data to identify sales targets
- Excellent customer care skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand technical software sales techniques
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, MS Outlook and Teams)
- Pipedrive or similar CRM experience is preferred
- Well versed in remote communication tools such as Zoom, Teams, etc.

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
