Established in December 2014, SUSHI MOMO was the first plant-based sushi restaurant in Canada. Led by chef/owner and his team, SUSHI MOMO strives to offer guests an extraordinary dining experience every time. Using the freshest ingredients to make the best plant-based sushi in the country, SUSHI MOMO invites guests to taste their exceptional sushis right down to the piece.
We are currently looking for experienced Bartenders and Servers!
Location: Toronto
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage + tips (depending on experience and performance)
Bartender Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests and making recommendations.
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
Bartender Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in a high-quality establishment.
- Strong knowledge of mixology and beverage preparation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Smart Serve certification is a must.
Server Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions guests may have.
- Ensure a clean and tidy dining area.
- Handle transactions and ensure accurate billing.
Server Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of serving experience in a high-quality restaurant.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine is an asset but not required.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Strong leadership skills with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Proven history of hiring, coaching, and training.
- Proven history of successfully motivating and managing people.
- Positive attitude and willingness to always push to be better.
- Effective conflict management skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
