Arizona Grill Lounge is looking for Full Time & Part Time Grill Cooks.
Day Shifts and Nights Shifts are both available.
The GRILL COOK is responsible for safely preparing dishes required for a full-service restaurant. The ideal candidate must have previous kitchen experience and be motivated by a desire to progress in a dynamic, fast-paced, and challenging environment. The Grill Cook will be responsible for prepping and managing the grill station.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Preparing and cooking raw meats, fish, and poultry to the highest standards
- Review and maintain safe handling and storage of varied meats
- Responsible for cutting or carving meat, fish, or poultry in addition to assembling, measuring and mixing other ingredients for each dish
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a grill cook an asset
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Strong knife skills and experience in the use of kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, mornings, and nights
- Must be energetic with a passion for food and a positive attitude
- Attention to detail
- Food handling and health & safety training an asset
- Experience and knowledge of seafood preparation is a strong asset
Restaurant is open from 11am - 2am everyday.
Shifts times are flexible.
Offering competitive wages starting at $17/hour & up depending on experience and availability.
