Role Description:
If you care about current events, love watching TED talks, and believe in lifelong learning and the power of ideas - you will love NSB. This is a full-time Inside Sales Representative role at National Speakers Bureau in Vancouver, with flexibility for some remote work.
- Represent the best, the brightest, the famous and the infamous for speaking opportunities in Canada and internationally
- Inside sales, prospecting, and providing exceptional customer service
- Manage and grow a client base while meeting or exceeding monthly sales quotas and KPI's
- Work in partnership with our speakers and clients (companies, event professionals, and associations) on each event to meet and exceed program objectives
- Promote our speakers for events, negotiate contracts, and attend industry events
- Learn and grow while making an impact
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years Inside B2B Sales and Account Management experience preferred
- Passionate about: ideas, people, current events, trends and stories
- Effective communicator able to sell intangibles and experiences
- Customer service and relationship management experience
- Lead Generation, prospecting, and cold calling skills and experience
- Self-motivated, solution-focused with a growth mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of and experience in the: speaking, events, meetings, training & development, or entertainment industry an asset
- Experience working with a CRM program preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 depending on experience and bonus or commission plan based on meeting personal sales goals
