Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Update, manage and work with patients & staff to create schedules
- Answer emails to our general mailbox and forward to appropriate parties
- Scan and file medical documents in a timely and appropriate manner-- notify appropriate staff for review
- Maintain electronic medical records accurately and in a timely manner
- Order office and medical supplies; domestic and international
- Organize computer files, front desk paperwork, keep pending projects on task
- File appropriate paperwork for patient lab requisitions
- File billing and expense reports on a monthly basis, flag and forward to Operations Manager
What you Bring:
- Applicants must possess their own means of transportation
- High level of English language proficiency, both written and verbal
- Organization & Prioritization
- Familiarity with scanning and printing medical files
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software
- Previous experience in a medical office setting
- Exceptional proficiency of adhering to federal and provincial privacy health laws
- High-level multitasking skills: able to handle multiple sources of requests and information at once, rarely missing details, understanding when something has been overlooked in the moment
- Compassionate, clear and firm communication
