Full Job Description

Position Title: Warehouse staff

Work Location: Markham,ON

Wage: $17.2

Reporting to: Supervisor, Warehouse

Position type: Part-Time

FOR PART-TIME: MUST BE AVAILABLE AT LEAST 3 DAYS/WEEK INCLUDING WEEKENDS

Must have at least 1 year of relevant work experience in a Warehouse environment (preferably order picking)
Multi-temperature Work Environments (0-25 degrees celsius)

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments of goods and materials
Verify and inspect shipments for accuracy and completeness
Sort, organize, and store products in designated locations within the warehouse
Retrieve and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Assist with inventory management, including conducting regular stock counts and reconciling any discrepancies
Pick orders and pack products into ready-to-ship boxes
From time to time, the staff might be assigned to assemble products (fold packages, put stickers on packages)
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping floors, removing debris, and ensuring aisles are clear of obstacles
Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous warehouse experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
Ability to lift and move heavy items, up to 50 pounds or more
Familiarity with operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a plus
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
