Duties and responsibilities:
· Greets guests warmly as they approach the host stand
· Assesses the guest needs and seats them accordingly, ensuring all sections are seated appropriately
· Promotes food and beverage programs with product knowledge and enthusiasm
· Ensures menus are presentable and clean
· Answers the host phone within three rings and ensures all reservations are accurately inputted into the computer
· Assists servers/team when necessary
· Takes orders and payment for guests who choose to take-away their meal
· Takes ownership of guest complaints, finding creative ways to solve problems and follow-ups with the guest
· Performs other tasks assigned by management
Requirements:
- Flexible availability to work between 24-30 hours a week; open to work anytime including 6am shifts, mid-day, evenings, weekends, stat holidays as needed
- Friendly, energetic person who prides themselves on creating memorable guest experiences through warm & genuine service
- Has previous Food & Beverage experience and/or customer service experience
- Takes initiative and recognizes opportunities for success
- Serving it Right certificate
- Understands that success lies in working together and enjoys being part of a team
- Gets excited by an energetic, fast-paced environment
- Good English/communication
