Position Summary

The Human Capital Associate will play a vital role in supporting our employees throughout their employee life cycle. Assist HR team members with recruitment, learning and development programs, maintain employee records on HRIS, assist with onboarding and offboarding employees and provide administrative support to all employees.

This role will work collaboratively with the team and colleagues across the team. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

Assist with all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
Maintain the integrity of HRIS and employee data within employee files, dashboards, and HR Information Systems.
Prepare and provide employment-related letters for employees as needed (e.g., verification letters, reference letters, etc.).
Provide administrative support for HR programs as required.
Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, scheduling interviews, and issuing employment contracts.
Assist with performance management procedures.
Schedule meetings and maintain agendas.
Collaborate with the Health & Safety committees to ensure compliance with H&S requirements.
Oversee the administration of insured benefits and the Deferred Profit-Sharing Program.
Facilitate onboarding and offboarding, including managing logistics with appropriate teams.
Support talent-related reports and metrics.
Liaise with the payroll team to ensure all status change forms are executed.
Support other assigned projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

This challenging role requires a complex combination of skills and knowledge. These include the following:

Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field (required).
3 years of experience as an HR administrative role (required).
Familiarity with Employment Standards.
Proficient in HR administration and people management.
Thorough understanding of HR functions and best practices.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Capable of working effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Outstanding organizational and time management capabilities.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving aptitude.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Bilingualism is an asset.
