Introduction to role:
The Project Coordinator, Business and Operations is a vital member of the Medical Innovation, Strategy, and Operations team within OBU Global Medical Business Operations, Analytics, and Reporting. This role collaborates with the business to achieve the Global Medical Affairs (GMA) financial stewardship objectives and works closely with stakeholders from Finance and the Medical Tumor Teams.
Accountabilities:
This role is responsible for supporting the business spend management platform for the GMA “Confidence” budget (non-study costs), providing budget systems support for the GMA budget and/or clinical platform, including raising and setting up POs, troubleshooting requests, and tracking payments. The Project Coordinator will ensure the implementation of best practices and exceptional delivery of all day-to-day operational processes. Regular meetings with stakeholders will be held to discuss POs, systems and budget updates, invoicing, and budget queries related to budget management and systems support. The team member will support various activities across all MIST teams as needed.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to work in various systems, Proficiency in Excel
- Proven project management experience
- Customer relationship management experience and strong work ethics
- Experience of effective working in a cross-functional, multi-cultural, and matrix environment
- Experience working in a global setting, managing stakeholders within different time zones
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience in Medical Affairs (Global, Regional, or Local)
- Experience in basic Finance/Accounting and other types of administrative duties
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry
