The IT Analyst, Quality Assurance will be responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan for Recipe’s eCommerce apps and websites. executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with external systems.
What you will do in this role:
- Create and modify automated test scripts for execution against websites and mobile applications
- Execute manual and automated testing for websites and mobile applications in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other legacy and/or external systems
- Create testing plans for all eCommerce applications
- Create and modify manual test scripts for eCommerce and mobile applications
- Document and log all software deficiencies
- Interact with development, project management and customer stakeholders 15%
- Review Support Tickets and investigate reported issues
What we are looking for from you:
- 2+ years of relevant Quality Assurance technical experience
- 2+ years experience with large enterprises or e-business systems
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Administration degree preferred
- Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL), web applications, mobile applications and operations systems
- Experience using JIRA
- Clear communicator (written and verbal) – to ensure ability to write test plans and test cases. To communicate bugs to developers and other stakeholders
- Creative solving of technical problems – to ensure the ability translate technical requirements test plans
- Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables – ensures the ability to find the bad defects and bugs quickly
- Experiences in Quality Management Software and Processes
- Knowledge and experience in technical aspects of software solution being tested
- Create clear, concise detail oriented test plans/cases.
- Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.
- Excellent analytic, problem solving, business judgment and organization skills is required
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and strong sense of ownership
- Very strong customer service orientation
