Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Developer with solid experience to join our dynamic team in Greater Vancouver, Canada. As a Mid-Level Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, supporting, and deploying engaging retail store experiences and apps for the Shopify marketplace. We are looking for a full stack engineer with a proven ability to deliver high-quality solutions and contribute to team success.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, support, and deploy retail store experiences with a particular focus on the Shopify platform using modern web technologies.
Create and maintain scalable applications for the Shopify marketplace.
Lead and contribute to diverse projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement effective solutions.
Participate in and lead code reviews, contributing to the continuous improvement of development practices.
Deploy and maintain applications while ensuring efficient CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, ensuring smooth project execution.
Communicate effectively to understand, articulate, and solve complex problems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2-4 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on full stack development.
Proficiency in PHP, Javascript, Liquid, HTML.
Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of web development, deployment processes, and Shopify platform intricacies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to changing technologies and project requirements.
Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

Preferred Attributes:

Proficiency in working with design systems is highly advantageous.
Working experience with Google Analytics or similar platforms, configurations, building analytics and reporting experiences.
A proactive learning mindset with the ability to apply new technologies effectively.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to mentor, document and share knowledge with the team.
A proactive approach to solving problems and addressing challenges.
