Key Responsibilities
- Prepare period-end accrual and other journal entries to accurately record transactions.
- Prepare various account reconciliations and follow up as necessary to resolve any reconciling items.
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
- Analyze financial results, including variance analysis.
- Prepare ad-hoc accounting reports.
- Assist with interim, annual, and other financial audits.
- Work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure proper coding of expenses and journal entries.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to drive efficiencies, save costs, and challenge the status quo to ensure targets are delivered.
Qualifications
Required
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar.
- Ability to think critically, identify issues, and apply accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills with an emphasis on teamwork.
- Ability to communicate effectively in an open and direct manner; detail-oriented and able to convey information clearly and concisely with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong ability to work within a team as well as independently.
Preferred
- Interest in pursuing an accounting designation.
This is a hybrid opportunity out of our Richmond HQ and will pay a base salary between $75,000 - $82,000 with a 10% bonus. Thank you for your interest in Natures Path!
