Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing products for shipment, ensuring that all items are packaged securely and accurately. This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Package products according to company standards to ensure safe transport.
- Perform order picking tasks, selecting items from inventory based on order specifications.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as cranes, clamp trucks, and order pickers safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload products from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Assist in the shipping and receiving process, verifying that incoming and outgoing shipments match orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate various warehouse equipment effectively.
- Experience with order picking processes in a warehouse distribution environment.
- Proficiency in using cranes, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to build product displays or packaging as needed for shipments.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork within a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, standing, or moving for extended periods.
