COORDINATOR, IN-MARKET SALES
Start Date: April 1st 2025 to October 24th, 2025
Work Hours: Full time, seasonal, shift work (start times may vary)
Days of Week Worked:Tuesday through Saturday
Location: Downtown Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, North Van
Wages: Competitive Wage ($3850 per month salary) plus phone ($65) + car allowance ($300)
Gray Line Westcoast Sightseeing works in partnership with Hotel Affiliates, selling and promoting our tours and attractions to guests from around the world! As an In-Market Sales Coordinator, you will be part of the Sales + Marketing Team, with a focus on building and maintaining the Hotel Affiliates Loyalty Program and these Partnerships. You will be reporting to the In-Market Sales + Hotel Partnerships Manager. To succeed in this fast-paced and evolving environment, you will be highly organized, have a strong attention to detail, and able to think outside the box. A positive attitude and letting your passion for Vancouver shine, will be essential for this role.
YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE
- Affiliate account management; including set-up of new hotel accounts, training, troubleshooting technical difficulties, delivering commissions, guest service assistance and maintaining relationships.
- Assisting with planning and execution of tradeshows, events and familiarization tours
- Attending hotel affiliate events, functions and familiarization tours as a representative of GLWCS.
- Administrative duties; including commission reconciliation, CRM updates, email newsletter updates and sales reporting.
- Strategy development and execution working with sales and marketing team to develop in-market strategy and plan - focused on building long-term relationships and increasing overall sales.
- Preparing and delivery of marketing collateral (flatsheets, invitations) for affiliate program.
- Acting as a Reservations Agent for our Affiliates program on mornings and weekends.
- Attending tourism networking events or seminars as a representative of GLWCS.

- Flexible schedule and enjoy working outside of the 9 to 5. Must work on weekends and able to work some evenings and holidays.
- Excellent English verbal communication skills – another bonus is a few different language.
- Strong time management and organizational skills (multi-tasking is a must!)
- Professional, positive personality and dynamic inter-personal skills
- You have a go-getter attitude, because we believe “Our attitude towards life determines life’s attitude towards us”
- Prior sales and/or service experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Experience with reservation systems is a bonus!
- Graphic design skills and prior experience at a sightseeing company is also a big bonus
- Strong knowledge of Downtown Vancouver and surrounding areas
- Have a vehicle and valid BC driver’s license
