Position Summary:
The Experienced Spa Receptionist with Digital Marketing Proficiency will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the spa, supporting the team, assisting with sales, and creating an exceptional experience for each client. In addition to reception duties, the role includes managing the spa's social media presence, creating visually compelling content, and driving customer engagement through various digital platforms. A genuine passion for Japanese wellness traditions and an appreciation for Zen aesthetics are strongly preferred. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who combines a passion for wellness with strong communication and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in clients, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our Japanese Zen hospitality.
- Performing receptionist and other clerical duties including answering telephones, responding to inquiries and requests for information, scheduling client appointments, sending out appointment reminders, and forwarding problems and relevant inquiries to appropriate staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized reception area, and assist with various administrative duties as needed.
- Coordinate spa schedules, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction.
- Promote and sell spa services and retail products to clients.
- Assisting with various marketing activities such as curating engaging content for the spa’s social media sites in adherence to brand guidelines and objectives; developing and delivering creative marketing, communications, and promotional material for print and digital media projects; coordinating and planning events.
- Monitoring social media performance, reporting on progress, and recommending creative solutions to achieving our goals.
- Following spa policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a spa receptionist or in a customer service role, ideally in a wellness or hospitality setting.
- Proficient in digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram, etc)
- Strong understanding of SEO, content creation, and social media management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer-service, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Experience with spa management software (e.g., Zenoti, shopify ) is an advantage.
- Passion for wellness, health, and customer care.
- A positive attitude involving a ready collaboration with all team members, attention to detail, and the willingness to learn and advance.
