Job Description
Location: 670 Caledonia Road, York, ON, M6E 4V9
Schedule: Includes weekends and shifts until 8:30pm
As a Retail Associate, you will:
- Walk customers through our product lines to build brand loyalty and maximize sales results
- Provide exceptional customer service in our showroom and through any communication method chosen by our customers. Aim to assist as many customers as possible by balancing efficiency and sales with a friendly approach
- Assist customers post sale in ensuring all questions regarding deliveries are answered and important information is properly communicated to the Operations team
- Participate in visual directives in accordance with company product launches, including but not limited to setting displays, merchandising products, and maintaining pricing signage
- Maintain a welcoming and pristine showroom environment by taking care of regular cleaning and tidying of fixtures and display items
- Be the face of our core values of transparency and sustainability. You will be responsible for ensuring that the story behind our brand gets communicated to our customers
- Support the Marketing and Operations team by maintaining a trend record of customer insights, including general demographics, product preferences, buying habits, and other relevant details to help guide business strategies
- Work closely with the Retail and Training team to stay updated on product changes and promotions, ensuring clear and accurate communication with customers
- Create and curate a comfortable environment for customers to experience our products and learn about our brand
- Maintain an open line of communication with the Customer Experience team ensuring that all key issues are addressed in a timely fashion
About You:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, retail sales, or a related/transferable field (1-3 years preferred but not mandatory)
- Merchandising experience considered an asset
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to genuinely connect with customers and understand their needs
- Proficiency in browser-based and mobile-based applications, including G-Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
- Must be reliable, adaptable, and fully available to work shifts, including weekends and evenings up to 8:30 pm EST. This availability is mandatory.
- Skilled at multitasking, time management, and working effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Highly coachable, open to feedback, and committed to self-improvement
- Detail-oriented, meticulous, and organized, ensuring spaces are clean and well-maintained
- Thrives in high-volume environments, handling diverse customer personalities with empathy and professionalism
