Responsibilities

Responsible for day-to-day management of banking and finance files assigned by supervising lawyer
Draft various loan documents and closing documentation related to lending transactions
Represent financial institutions and corporate borrowers on transactions ranging from simple bi- lateral credit agreements to complex multifacility, multicurrency financings with multiple syndicates
Representing both issuers and underwriters/arrangers in debt capital markets and structured finance transactions

Requirements

2-6 years of experience in lending and debt finance work
A license to practice law in Ontario
Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
High level of attention to detail
Strong academic credentials
Experience on securitization / structured finance deals will be considered an asset
