The impact you'll make:
The Production Coordinator, Designer is a killer, hands on role in our Vancouver office that will have your marrying your love of production of stills and motion, managing shoots in our studio and orchestrating their delivery, as well as your aptitude as a designer, executing the production of assets when needed.
As part of our ever-growing, best-in-class creative team, you will be key to bringing the brand to life, working with the product and creative teams to create and deliver assets for Ecomm, digital and social.
The ideal candidate will be both right and left brained and will work with our amazing roster of artist talent to organize and help direct shoots, as well as manage Saje’s visual DAM system (Canto) in service to our creative team and cross-functional partners.
You also love getting your hands into designing assets and will help to ensure, with your designer teammates, smooth delivery of print and digital assets as needed.
All Saje Team Members are responsible for contributing to Saje’s culture and maintaining a positive environment for themselves and their peers.
What you'll do:
- Manage the production of evergreen stills and motion creation, including booking talent, making workbacks and organizing shoots in collaboration with the creative and product teams.
- Leverage your production design capabilities to also deliver campaign ready assets when time permits, as needed by the creative and marketing teams.
- Own, curate, organize our internal DAM system, making it easy for the creative and cross-functional teams to access and use our ever-evolving content library for their marketing needs.
- Collaborate with the creative team, including art directors, graphic designers, and copywriters, to execute visually engaging designs for marketing campaigns.
- Adhere to established campaign look & feel, brand guidelines and visual standards.
- Populate and edit campaign assets such as social media graphics, website banners, digital ads (paid, social, organic), email templates, print collateral, and other promotional materials.
- Ensure all designs are production-ready and meet technical specifications for different platforms and mediums.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines to ensure timely delivery of high- quality designs.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on all design assets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Contributes to a team environment where all Team Members consistently experience a sense of belonging and inclusion
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2 – 4 years) as a production coordinator / designer within an agency, production company, or in-house creative team.
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Understanding of Canto, or quick to learn DAM systems.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional production skills and projects you’ve successfully contributed to making either as a designer or producer.
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate design concepts and ideas.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

The compensation range on average for this position is from $65,000 - $70,000 annually. Base pay is dependent on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
