About the Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated Skilled Construction Labourer to join our expanding team.
Core responsibilities include:
- Material Handling & Delivery: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to designated areas on site.
- Site Preparation: Assist in site cleanup, debris removal, and obstacle clearance to ensure a clean and hazard-free work area.
- Demolition: Participate in controlled demolition activities under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- General Cleaning: Perform general cleaning duties to uphold cleanliness standards on site.
- Machine Operation: Utilize basic machinery and tools effectively and safely.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and goals.
- Maintenance: Support routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and facilities are operational.
- Assist in Emergency Situations: Provide assistance during emergency repairs or restoration efforts as needed.
- Construction Tasks: Contribute to various construction tasks including drywall installation and finishing, rough and finish carpentry, baseboard and trim installation, framing, backsplash installation, plastering, taping, painting, cabinet installation, flooring installation and repairs, and other related duties.
Skills and other requirements:
- Proven and hands-on experience as a skilled construction worker.
- Valid G driver's license and own truck.
- Good understanding of English.
- Must be flexible in work schedule and adhere to change orders.
- Must be able to work carefully and quickly under tight deadlines.
