Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling and storage.
- Support front-of-house staff by helping with customer service when needed, including taking orders or serving food.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods.
- Help manage inventory by restocking supplies and reporting any shortages to management.
- Participate in training sessions to improve skills related to food preparation and safety practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
