Reena is actively looking for
Contract, Part-Time Recreational Support Workers (RSWs) to work within its Community Outreach programs. As an RSW, you would provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
This is a great opportunity for University/College students looking for Part-Time employment. There is potential for extensions and growth within the agency.
Work Schedule:
The Recreational Support Worker role is a
Temporary Contract role from
March 16th - May 30th, 2025.
Below is the Shift Schedule.
Monday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Tuesday: 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Wednesday: 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Thursday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Sunday: 11:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Job Responsibilities
· Design and implement recreational activities for individuals with developmental disabilities
· Reinforce social and life skills
· Participate in mandatory meetings and training
Qualifications
Requirements
- High School Diploma as the minimum education
- CPR Level C
- A valid G2 license is recommended.
- Volunteer experience in recreational camps or working with individuals with special needs
Qualification
- Relevant background in child care, education, social work, psychology, and social services
- Self-motivated and willing to learn
- Flexible and adaptive to change
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a team environment.
- Creativity, patience, and a passion for working with children and youth.
