Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in various settings, including acute care and pediatrics. This role is essential in ensuring that patients receive optimal respiratory support and therapy as part of their overall medical treatment.

Duties

Assess and evaluate patients' respiratory conditions and needs.
Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and mechanical ventilation.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on clinical findings.
Educate patients and their families about respiratory health, treatment options, and home care strategies.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care activities.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and medical terminology.

Experience

Previous experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
Familiarity with pediatric respiratory care is a plus.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to respiratory therapy.
Proficiency in medication administration relevant to respiratory treatments.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment while maintaining attention to detail.
